Symphony of the Stones

BBC World Service is to air a music documentary on sound and music in Prehistory.

‘Symphony of the Stones’ will be broadcast on 2 December by the BBC.

Miriam Cooke, an archaeologist, musician and broadcaster will visit a few iconic ancient sites in Britain, Europe and the US to recover the human species most ancient soundtrack utilizing her understanding of archaeology and music technologies.

The programme aims to brings the sound of prehistory to life.
