Northumberland National Park Week 2016

If you are looking for something to do with the kids this Thursday and Friday (28th & 29th July) you can always take part in Northumberland National Park Week, by participating in the activities at Walltown Country Park, near Haltwhistle.  There will be loads going on such as zip lines, frizbee golf, climbing wall, bushcraft, pizza making, archery, which makes the event excellent value!

Kevin, Sara and Joe will be on site with the Stone Age Tent to provide activities for the whole family.  Kev will be making a dugout canoe (Stone Age style).  Joe will be looking at some of the foods people ate in the Stone Age and kids can have a go a wheat grinding.  Sara will do some storytelling about cave art and kids will have the chance to make their own clay pot when they learn about The Beaker People.
